My Patients frequently ask me whether the diabetic menu diet will help them reduce the blood sugar level. The answer is always yes, these recommended Carbohydrates for a diabetic surely reduce the blood sugar level and other health risks. A low carbohydrate diet and minimum intake of sugar contribute in curing your diabetic symptoms and other life threatening diseases. If you hang on to your bad eating habits, diabetes will convert into further complicated diseases. It is a fact that diabetic people have a tough time digesting sugar and carbohydrates. Sugar and starches are good source of energy. This energy is converted into insulin that produces energy in your body. However if you are diabetic chances are you don’t digest carbohydrates properly. These carbohydrates and sugar store in your body and fail to produce the much needed Insulin. When your body fails to produce the enzyme insulin it is called glycemia. People who are diagnosed with type 1 or type 2 diabetes their blood contain excessive amount of glucose. Generally glucose is not digested and converted into energy. Therefore diabetics are more vulnerable to kidney, heart problems, eyesight, hypertension and liver complications. You must read diabetic menu recipes and control your blood sugar level. Generally a doctor prescribes insulin injections or oral medications. Carefully monitor each meal and read labels of packed and canned meals. I will advise all diabetics to avoid fast foods, deep fried, oily, greasy meats, sugar and caned foods. Replace them with fresh fruits and green vegetables. Every diabetic must include carrots, cabbage, beans, apple, banana and oranges in their daily intake. You must take proper diabetic menu meals as you owe it to your health and well being. Post a comment
