The direct opposite of simple carb is complex carb. If simple carb could kill us, complex card will help us to maintain our health and our live. The families of complex carb are natural fibers, whole wheat (could be wholegrain bread), brown rice, beans, oats, most vegetables and fruits. Complex carbohydrates are slowly absorbed and digested. So, the result for our diabetic condition is they help to keep our sugar levels relatively stable. Although, complex carb good for us, it not means that we could grab a full basket of them and eat it in one hour. It is not good. As you know that a good food could be a poison if we over eat. Complex carb better than simple carb, yes it is true, but still we must watch it with careful. We want over eat; we just want to take a much as we need to maintain our body fit and healthy. One of our challenges live with diabetes is to maintain our own weight. So, this kind of carb will help us a lot. This carb digest slowly that means it needs more energy to spend to digest it. More energy to spend more fit we are, right. Take a simplest and easiest way first, switch all your bread to whole wheat and you will in the path of healthier live.
